Kimonos

Kimonos are such a great invention! They're lightweight, affordable and they also are very appealing to the eye! Kimonos are kind of like cardigans but they tend to be a lot longer and a shier material. They are great for summer and the hotter seasons. You can wear them with so many different thing. You could wear them with shorts, jeans or even tights. They usually come in patterns, it's very rear to see a kimono in a solid colour. They usually come in patterns because you are supposed to wear them with a solid colour shirt underneath. But with cardigans its the complete opposite, they usually come in solid colours and you wear a more intense shirt underneath. Kimonos come in different styles as well, some are shorter in the back and longer in the front, some are short in general and some are overly long.

My personal opinion on kimonos verses cardigans is that I would have to say I like them equally the same. I like them equally the same because you can transition both into your wardrobe at different times. You can wear cardigans in the colder seasons because they're usually knitted so they keep you very warm. You can wear kimonos in the warmer seasons because they're shier and they don't give you any warmth at all. I like how kimonos tend to be longer because in the summer they're nice to wear with shorts. So from the back you look like you're wearing a dress but in the front you can tell you have shorts and a tank top on! I think that every girl/woman should own at least one cardigan and one kimono for all the seasons!

Fashion Tips and Tricks

When it comes to maintaining your clothes, keeping them up to date and in "shape" there are always tips and tricks that can be useful! I'm here to tell you some of my tips and tricks that I use and I hope they help you tremendously! The first tip is if you're a messy person and always spill stuff on yourself you better keep reading! You should always use white wine to remove red wine stains. If you are someone who takes their jeans to a tailor make sure you wash them two times before because jeans always shrink in length when washed. For those people who love to keep their diamonds sparkling a great method is to wash them with liquid dishwasher detergent and an old toothbrush. If you have a big event coming up you should stay away from dairy and whole grains five days before, it will help with bloating. I'm sure everyone hates when they have fuzz on their clothes so a good tip to de-fuzz your clothing is to use a pumice stone. To maintain the wash of your favorite pair of jeans add 1/2 cups of distilled white vinegar to the final rinse cycle while you're doing laundry. So these are just some of the tricks to maintain my clothes and keep them looking new!

Infinity Scarves

With Fall ending and this winter here everyone could use a scarf. There are two different kinds of scarves. There is the normal scarf that isn't attached and than there's infinity scarves. Both have a similar look but they're slightly different. The normal scarf is more of a hassle to keep in place and you always have to adjust it to make it look good in my opinion. The infinity scarf is much easier than the basic normal scarf. The infinity scarf is connected and you twist it around and then put it around your neck. It stays in place perfectly and it also gives off more of a "put together" look.

My personal opinion on a normal scarf verse an infinity scarf is that I would 100% wear an infinity scarf over a normal scarf. The reasons why I would pick this decision is that I like the "puffier" look. I also like how it stays in place without having to readjust it every few minutes. With the normal basic scarves they fall off and get tangled up all the time. But whether you pick an orginal scarf or an infinity scarf I think you should own at least one for the Fall and Winter seasons!

Flannels

Flannels are so versatile, everyone should own at least one in their wardrobe. Whether you're a girl, woman, man, boy or even a little baby everyone can pull off a flannel. Not only do they keep you warm but they're fashionable too. There are so many different styles and colours to company everyone's style. Flannels not only look nice and comfy but they keep you warm at the same time!

My opinion on Flannels is that they're a must have. If you own a flannel you will 100% wear it on many occasions. You can wear it in the summer around your waist. You can wear it in the winter buttoned up or even unbuttoned with a graphic tank top underneath. You can wear them oversized or form fitted, either way you're going to rock the flannel look. I personally think everyone should have a flannel and whoever doesn't have one is missing out. So go shopping and buy yourself a flannel and you'll be set!

Winter Boots

Women's Chestnut Bailey Button Triplet Boot Side ViewThis winter is going to be the coldest yet, so you better invest in a pair of winter boots that will keep you warm, last a long time and accompany your wardrobe. There are tons of different kinds of boots out there but you can eliminate lots of them because of personal preferences. There are some boots that look better but don't actually keep you warm and there are some that don't look as nice but keep you very warm. So my advice to you is to try and find a pair that looks nice and keeps you warm at the same time!

My personal opinion about winter boots is that everyone should have a pair no matter what. If you were to ask me what my favorite winter boots are, I would hands down say Uggs! I like Uggs because they are probably the warmest, most comfortable boots I have ever owned. If I were to change anything about them I would want to change the look of them. They're also pretty expensive but once you own a pair you will never want to go back to the boots you previously owned! I would definitely recommend Uggs so go, splurge, and buy yourself a pair!

Tartan the Mood Red and Navy Blue Plaid Maxi Dress at Lulus.com!Who doesn't love dressing up? Who doesn't love to be comfy? I personally love to dress up and be comfy at the same time! When I think about getting dressed up for a formal event, I think about dresses and skirts. Not only are dresses/skirts cute and formal they're also very comfy and easy to wear. Also maxi dresses and skirts are very affordable. This is my advice to anyone who is thinking about buying a dress or a skirt: I would 100% say you should buy one because you will get lots of use out of it and you won't regret it!

My opinion on maxi dresses and skirts is that they're very useful for so many reasons. If you're going out for dinner you can wear one of these outfits, if you're going to a formal event you can wear one of these and also if you're going to the beach or even a funeral. There are so many places you can wear these clothing items. There are plenty of patterns and styles as well. You can also dress them up by wearing high heels and a chunky necklace to an event or you can dress them down by wearing flip flops with a floppy hat to the beach. There are so many options when it comes to maxi dresses/skirts that it would be a shame to not own one, so go and treat yourself to a skirt or a dress for the upcoming seasons!

Transitioning Hats

When you're having a bad hair day who doesn't love throwing on a hat to basically cover up the mess? When you're running late and don't have time to do your hair who doesn't love throwing on a hat and the problem is gone? Hats are a must-have 100%, they have so many more ups than downs that you cant go wrong. There are so many different styles of hats that everyone can wear them. The hat that has been most popular is the floppy hat. You can dress the hat up or down so whatever you're feeling that day it can accompany you. Get ahead on the trend and buy yourself a floppy hat!

My opinion on the floppy hat and hats in general is that they're so versatile. I love the look of a floppy hat but I also love the look of a beanie as well. The downfall to a floppy hat is that it's not a hat I would suggest wearing in the colder seasons. The advantage to a beanie is its made for the colder weather. So as the seasons change you can transition different hats in and out of your wardrobe. I think different hats tells a lot about someone and what kind of style they have. For instance the beanie is more of a edgy look and the floppy hat is more of a girly look. Depending on your style and your mood that day you can wear all kinds of different hats. In conclusion I personally think that everyone needs at least one hat to change with the seasons.
